The research in my lab is aimed at the experimental investigation of ultracold, quantum degenerate atomic gases. Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs) and degenerate Fermi gases (DFGs) have revolutionized atomic physics and allow unprecedented access to quantum mechanical phenomena.

After a construction time of 1.5 years, we have now reached BEC in the lab at WSU, Pullman.
