Claire May Band Scholarship

 

The Claire May Band Scholarship in Physics was established in 1989 to recognize outstanding individuals interested in the physics program at Washington State University.  The Claire May Band scholar receives a certificate and a cash award in addition to any other support.  The application deadline for the yearly award is early spring.  Recipients include:

Paul A. and Dian Bender Freshman Physics Scholarship

 

This scholarship is for students intending to major in physics.  The scholarship is competitive and awarded annually by the department to an incoming freshman student.  The award covers the equivalent cost of in-state tuition at WSU for one semester.  The winner will be selected on the basis of the high school grade point average, one or two letters of recommendation from high school teachers, and a short statement of interests and goals.  The application deadline for the yearly award is early spring.  Recipients include:
